Chapter 8: The Assembly Ground Visit

Danetelle says;
Always keep in mind, things in your life is never coincidental. Everything happen for a reason. Never greed, never envy; and treasure what you have. For the more you want to grab; you may lose what precious you already have.

Decided to meet my best friend today. Work may have tied us down and commitments may have absorbed us, we still squeezed time to see each other today. *HAPPY*

Was madly perspiring but short after my bus came.

Met for lunch today and we chose the Assembly Ground.

Ambience isn't too bad; Food available definitely is not disappointing. (I promised to get a better camera soon. Pardon my non-HD pictures due to the bad lightings.)

Simple alignments of the tables and chairs.
For bigger groups.

Just guess which cake caught our attention?

Definitely the Rainbow Cake ($8.90) took our hearts at first sight.

It wasn't very crowded when we visited earlier which I was pretty surprised since today is Saturday; and they surprised me further with the food speedily served shortly after we ordered. *CONFETTIS*

Gotten the Pulled Pork Pizza ($18.00), Rosti Omelette ($14.50), Green Tea Latte & Hot Chocolate (both at $5.50 each)
Pulled Pork Pizza.
Before we start, a picture with the yums~!

We were not really expecting the food to taste "that" good since they were served so quickly. Surprise surprise! Albeit a good 10 minutes of photo taking before we start to dig in, the course are still warm enough. What's more it is super delicious.

V sure like the Pizza too. :>

Requested our dessert to be served after we efficiently settled the mains.
Mandatory shot before starting.
It makes me happy even just looking at it.
V attempt to take close-ups of the cake too, Candidly pretty 有没有?

Definitely would comeback soon for other varieties since it is so conveniently located in The Cathay. In case you are keen where it is the address is;

It is pretty early till our movie. Went for some shopping of course. Before that V and I decided to for some modelling. (Kekekeke)
I think she is talented, effortlessly pretty.
She said she doesn't like this, but I find her so pretty her too.

My outfit : The Closet Lover Far Far Away Floral Dress

Took numerous selfies/wefies on the way too. Haha. Shopping is always fun when your best friend is around.

Accompany V for some Hat shopping and I caught one similar to my dress today.
Can't help taking a selfie with it.

V decided to join me when we saw the full length mirrors.

Roam around town today basically, at a pace so slow, you can actually look at things around so cleary. Feeling so blessed and happy even when I didn't manage to get anything shopping the whole day. Sometimes happiness can just come so easily. A kind of blessing that money could not even buy.

Went on to do something we haven't done for so long --- Our favourite Past-time; Neo-prints.

The outcome was pretty satisfying. (^.^)

Went to get some hand food as our Dinner and headed for our last schedule for today.

Secretly took V when she was waiting for me when we visited the restroom and off to our movies to end our day.

To my dearest V;
Many times, people says Friends come and go. What I believe in differs from what I often hear. I believe in friendship, it takes 2 hands to clap to. We may be really busy in life, but we should never forget the one that supports you, listens to you, advises you, laughed with you, cried with you besides your closest family, would be your friend. I am really thankful to have known you V. We went through all the ups and downs together. Thank you for being there for me, believing me and remembering me despite being so busy in your life. Cheers for our friendship. I am thankful that you kept the fire of our friendship burning as much as I wanted to keep it. (^.^)

Being grateful is something often people tend to forget. If you can relate, start treasuring and thank the special one for being there for you today.

Off for the movie.

Till the next.

XOXO
