Chapter 14: Busie Wusie Augie, Family Love - Part III

Last part of my busy August.

Just right after the Hen's night celebration it was the annual meet-up for my JayCee study clique for our birthday celebrations in the afternoon~! Yay and finally we were meeting. The clique actually consist for 4 members namely me YB, ZR and SH; I am foreseeing our relationship like this could be maintained over decades or even a lifetime. Meeting them never fail to give me a warm-fuzzy feeling. But then again the annual meet up also kind of reminds me of how old we are getting from time to time. (SIANzzz)

This year's celebration is kind of special. In the past our meeting is usually for dinner. This time round we met for lunch due to each of us having different commitment at night and that day is the earliest we could make it. Since we were pretty determined to meet up we set it that fine afternoon. As usual ZR was late; so not surprised. I was the earliest, waited for awhile with the celebration recycled from daddy's birthday balloon and settled in the restaurant to wait for all to come. Short after YB arrived together with SH.

Famished we went ahead with our lunch without ZR.

My yums that day. :>

Finally ZR appeared after we are almost done with our lunch and shortly we proceeded to another location for our gift exchange.

Since our annual meet up is usually our birthday celebration, we definitely dressed up that day. I chose a floret number gotten from Twenty 3 from Malaysia for that day.

And I felt super girly that day. The unique silhouette, with checkered netting fixture in front of the bustier floral organza tube gave me a lady feeling when its on me. Wanted to get it the other colour too but I resisted. Can't always spoil myself like this. :P

Group Picture is definitely necessary when it comes to special days like this. Spot something familiar. Hahahax.

and closer ones.

SH and I were wearing something very matchy matchy as me that day.

with ZR.

I realised I didn't have any solo shots with YB that day~! Probably because we met more often as compared to the other 2.

and more improper shots altogether.

Madly chatting and updating each other about our lives in this full calendar year and we realised there are so much things for us to update about.! Definitely need to further catch up with them soon.

Just right after the mini catch-up, headed straight for Erjiumu's mini belated birthday celebration at Hyatt Hotel, Orchard.

Phone and camera died by evening, which explains why I didn't have much pictures that evening.

Was pretty excited to meet everyone that day especially cousin Noey and her baby bump.

There was quite a spread of food that day and great varieties. Fancy much for their prata with fish curry. Worth every calorie~!

and here a group picture of the cousins that attended. Spot Noey with her baby bump~

Happy belated birthday erjiumu~!

Just a week apart~ I become one of the bridesmaids of my colleague JK.

Had a really early day as I literally only caught a 2 hours wink, over at the bride's place. Washed up quickly and begin to make up while waiting for the other 5 sisters to reach so that I could assist them with attire and hair. As we were really pressed for times hence I do not have much time to take pictures. The photographer did capture a few moments while we are doing the preparation. Hence would share it once available.

Time was literally not enough. Some "ready sisters" would assist in some final confirmation, while I attend to those no so ready ones. Then it was time for us to lock up and standby for the brothers arrival, though I did not have enough time to do my hair. :<

We were excitedly waiting to tekan the brothers. All games that took us about 2-3 months of planning and preparation.

Took a great 1 hour to finish the 6 games we have prepared. After receiving the bride, there was some time left for some group pictures before we head out for our outdoor photoshoot.

the Bridesmaid dress. Pardon the messy hair, I didn't have enough time to do mine.

Took some wefie with JC while we are in the car to the outdoor photoshoot location.

Weather is consider to be really fine as it wasn't scorching hot, plus it was pretty breezy. The photoshoot took place at the newly renovated Kallang Wave. Once again would share more pictures once available.

Then we headed to the groom's place to 进茶, but before that
let me take a selfie. hehehe.

Finally we had some time for food and take a short break. :>

Double C selfie.

Group pictures finally. All the sisters for the day.

Shortly after that we headed back to the bride's place and 进茶, before we headed to the hotel for preparation. As solemnization starts around 6pm. Rush rush and still rushing for time.

Chosen a pale number for the night, before the busy peak time here is the mandate outfit shot.

Indeed it was a sweet and cosy dinner, though we get really busy in between helping the brides and the groom, video that playback and music that accompanied us through the night was specially chosen by the hitched couple meticulously. Immersed in the happy environment, it actually made every moment warm and lovely. So glad to be part of the sisters to know all this fun and lovely brothers and sisters.

That basically summarised what I am busy with for the month of August. Would be back for some outfits post and Sept updates too.

Till then.

Signing off,

XOXO

Chapter 13: Busie Wusie Augie, Family Love - Part II

Finally I have some time to update my blog. I promise to clear all my blog entries debts this week. Greatest apologies in case you have been waiting.

As promise, the continuation from the previous entry.

It wasn't an easy month of August for me this year. As all the big occasion falls in place altogether. Earlier it was the sister's 22nd and then followed by My god-dad's 50th. Next up it was my erjiumu's 60th birthday mini belated celebration.

Apart from all the birthdays from the family, it's our nation 49th birthday~!

Happily decked in red with hints of white accessorising, that day.

Besides Lunar New Year, I thought it was another day that I would not get weird glares when I am dressed in bright red.

Decide to spend the joyous day with my godparents and also some West-side cousins. We thought it wouldn't be that brilliant an idea to go to town that day as everywhere would be massive jam~!

We finally settle ourselves with our National Day Dinner choice - Miam Miam.

The settings and lightings actually enticed me to walk into the cafe-restaurant immediately. Though it wasn't exactly big, it is really cosy and comfortable to be dining in this environment. :>

As there were 7 of us, we ordered quite a fair variety of spread.

So let the feasting begin!

Clam Chowder.

Tomato Soup.

The French Toast.

Mac and Cheese.

Chicken Teriyaki Spaghetti.

Arrabiata.

I really love their thick Pancake and hence decided NOT to miss it.

Valrhona Chocolate Soufflé.

To our surprise, the restaurant actually gave us a National Day special Pancake on their house.

After the hearty meal, I definitely cannot miss the outfit shot of the day.

Coordinating red and white officially for the National Day.

Chapter 12: Busie Wusie Augie, Family Love - Part I

Sorry for the long hiatus. August has been a windmill to me. I was so busy to the point the sleeping enough has even turned into a luxury.

August has indeed been a pretty expensive month for me. And what actually just happened unknowingly we are almost halfway through September. O.O

Many happy occasion all happening altogether and so let me do a quick sum up for everything.

First occasion in line was my sister's J forever21 and it is super heartwarming I felt. There wasn't really a moment I don't like about that day. Probably because it was the sissy's birthday and we were all dressed up!
Chosen a maxi floret number from The Closet Lover and received quite a couple of compliments from both personally and Instagram :D Just who doesn't like to look pretty ? Haha.

Prior to the dinner I took a selfie of my overall makeup before I start nom-ing away.

As for my sissy outfit that was presented from me, I handpicked approximately 18 designs of maxi dresses for her to choose, because I was determined that she has to be the prettiest for that day.

Indeed she was :')

I always love birthdays. It is always an occasion of fun, love and laughter; it would be no different for the little sis, if not better.

Pictures of course would speak much more than my words.

Who doesn't like flowers?! Though I never once receive.
Stole it for a picture of course. (^.^)

One thing about the buffet location was it's variety - food standard wasn't that high for what the price we paid for. Others doesn't really entice me. If you ask me whether I would go back for another round, my answer is probably no. For the amount paid and given the fact J and I made several trips down mentioning it was a birthday celebration the staffs blatantly forgotten my sis's when they staffs were busy singing and celebrating other table-s birthday celebs (of course my little sis wasn't the only one celebrating her birthday but I felt how they settle the problem wasn't really favoring. Shan't elaborate.)

Nonetheless the celebration is still blessed with all love that was showered to the little sis during the occasion. I am just so in love with birthdays, even if it wasn't mine. :P

Second occasion in line was a surprise birthday celebration for my Godpa AKA my Daddy, as he turns 50 this year.

The celebration was planned top secret from his awareness. Location was at the special suite booked by my Godma, AKA as my MiMi, at Meritus Mandarin Singapore.

We, the planners, were told to be at the room around 4-ishpm, after they have checked in and after they leave for early dinner and their usual shopping routine.

Here is some pictures of their 3d2n stay and the space we were requested to decorate.

I love hotels with double basins~!

Then the decoration begins.
Brought my colourful headbands from home. Thought it would come in handy for the surprise.

Pasting all the "50s"

 Further decos.
Assembling ourselves.

Collaging for the King.

Helping one another for the head accessories prepared since every ladies in the Sims are participating for the little event we have prepared.

We have the louder ones.

and the milder ones.

After all the preparation, the female lead manage to distract the male lead a little and gotten back to the room and get changed.

And we are all ready ~

Then the shows begins.
Not sure if you guys are able to see this video clear enough thou.
The King of the night.

Mandate photo at the backdrop we prepared the whole afternoon.

From his priceless expressions we were super contented with our hard work.

Of course we have the Little Twin Stars of the Sims assisting him with the candles.

Group Pictures.
And individual of course~! Happy sweet 50th Daddy. Hope you like the surprise for you~!

By the midst of the surprise we were all famished. Given the fact that we were all in the room by 4pm and only finish surprising him by 8ish pm. The Sims went to the Chatterbox for dinner.

Played Minne while waiting for my food to be here.
My yums for that night.
My black number that night also from the Closet Lover.

Alright I promise I would have part 2 of my Busie Wusie Augie real soon alright. Thanks for being with me.
